We provide Residence Hospice Care, Bereavement Care, and Community Hospice Care programs such as in-home visits, day hospice and Caregiver Support. Our services meet the highest care standards in a setting that reflects as closely as possible a comfortable home environment.
Hospice Care Ottawa events raise funds to support the programs and services we provide at no charge to individuals living with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. Rich in history, our events are a great way to get involved, and share time with your family and friends.
Hike for Hospice is an annual tradition across Canada that celebrates the arrival of spring and the power of community. This year, our signature event takes place on Sunday, May 31 at the beautiful Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre.
Beginning at the main building, our 5 km hike will lead participants along scenic trails by the Ottawa River before returning to Ron Kolbus for refreshments and closing ceremonies. We welcome all ages and encourage you to form a team with family, friends, or colleagues. Individual fundraisers are welcome too and you’re sure to meet some amazing people along the way.

Holes for Hospice is a cherished annual tradition that brings our community together for a day of connection, generosity, and friendly competition. This year’s tournament will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026 bringing golfers together for a memorable day on the green in support of Hospice Care Ottawa.
Participants can look forward to a full day of golf, great company, and meaningful moments—whether you’re playing as a team, joining as an individual golfer, or supporting from the sidelines. From tee-off to closing remarks, every swish of the club helps us continue providing compassionate care to individuals and families when they need it most.

Hospice Care Ottawa’s beloved Home for the Holidays tour was November 14 - 16, 2025. Thank you for joining us for a festive weekend exploring stunning homes decorated for the season by talented local florists and designers as well as supporting our signature Pop-Up Shop, filled with unique gifts from local vendors and artisans — with a portion of all sales supporting Hospice Care Ottawa.
Our annual Shine A Light of Remembrance ceremonies provide a special opportunity to come together as a community to honour and remember loved ones who have passed away this year. Through gentle words of hope, poetry, music, and reflection, we offer a space of comfort, reminding us that we are not alone in our grief. Guests are invited to hang an ornament in memory of their loved one and light a candle on the memorial table.
