We provide Residence Hospice Care, Bereavement Care, and Community Hospice Care programs such as in-home visits, day hospice and Caregiver Support. Our services meet the highest care standards in a setting that reflects as closely as possible a comfortable home environment.
Our May Court Hospice, located along the banks of the Rideau River, is a full service hospice that houses nine hospice residence beds and community programming.
Our Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice located in Ottawa West is a full service hospice that houses twelve hospice residence beds and community programming. Construction on Hein House, the hospice residence wing, was completed September, 2017.
The new Maison de l’Est will we opening in its new location in the Cité Parkway Retirement Residence, 380 LeBoutillier Avenue, Ottawa, will officially open Spring 2024.
The opening of expanded francophone residential hospice suites and community programs out of this new location is the result of years of hard work and advocacy by dedicated volunteers from the Champions Committee, visionary public servants, and the dedicated advocacy efforts by the Board of Directors and leadership team at Hospice Care Ottawa.
The opening of Hospice Care Ottawa’s third location, la Maison de l’Est, adds 8 more hospice suites, bringing the total amount of residential hospice suites provided by Hospice Care Ottawa to 29. (photos coming soon)
