We provide Residence Hospice Care, Bereavement Care, and Community Hospice Care programs such as in-home visits, day hospice and Caregiver Support. Our services meet the highest care standards in a setting that reflects as closely as possible a comfortable home environment.
Hospice Care Ottawa (HCO) is only able to provide the support and services to our community due to the generosity of over 750 dedicated volunteers.
Knitters: Hospice Care Ottawa is seeking volunteers to knit sweaters for our teddy bear sales, as well as hearts for our heart program. All patterns will be provided.
Drivers: We are looking for volunteer drivers to transport day hospice clients to and from our programs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Volunteers must be available to bring clients to the hospice site for 10:00 a.m. and return them home at 2:00 p.m.
Bilingual Volunteers: Our Maison de l’Est location is seeking bilingual volunteers to support our reception desk. Responsibilities include welcoming and directing visitors, as well as assisting with various tasks as needed.
