Are you an employee or retiree of a company that offers volunteer grants and/or matching gift grants? Many employers have programs to promote and recognize volunteerism. Most of the applications are fairly simple and require the employee to log a certain number of hours with a charitable organization in order to qualify. Some employers also have programs to match donations made by their employees/retirees – this is a great way to “double” the impact of your support!
