Registered Nurse (RN)
Temporary, 1 Year Assignment until August 26, 2023
Location: May Court Hospice, Old Ottawa South
What You Will Be Doing: As part of our Residence Care Team you will be working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, volunteers and staff providing care to our residents according to their care plan, providing support and assistance to the resident and their families and/or caregivers and contributing to provide a home-like, peaceful environment.

All shifts are 8 hours and are fully paid.
Your Qualifications:
• Current Registration as an RN with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Experience in hospice palliative and/or end-of life care
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate a patient-focused approach to care and ability to work with families/caregivers
• Excellent communication skills in English - oral and written
In addition, having the following would be an asset:
• LEAP Certification (Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care) - or willingness to complete as an employment requirement
• Bilingual in both official languages and/or English/Other
