Jocelyne Contant

Jocelyne Contant, maintenant à la retraite a œuvré pendant 40 ans dans le domaine des soins de santé dans la région de Champlain. En plus d’être au chevet des malades en milieu hospitalier, elle a été la première directrice générale du Centre d’accès aux soins communautaires de l’Est de l’Ontario. Elle a aussi occupé des postes de direction dans une maison de soins de longue durée, au Conseil régional de santé de l’est de l’Ontario et au Réseau local d’intégration des services de santé de Champlain. Elle a été directrice générale fondatrice du programme régional des soins palliatifs de Champlain. Elle a aussi enseigné au Collège Algonquin dans le cadre du programme de formation en français des infirmières et et à l’Université d’Ottawa à l’école interdisciplinaire des sciences de la santé.
 
Elle a siégé au Conseil d’administration du Réseau de services de santé en français de l’Est de l’Ontario et à la Fondation Outcare en plus d’avoir participer au comité d’investissement communautaire de Centraide Ottawa.

Jocelyne détient un baccalauréat en sciences infirmières, une maîtrise en gestion des services de santé et la désignation CHE (Certified Health Executive) du Collège canadien des leaders en santé. 



Jocelyne Contant, now retired, has worked in the Champlain region health sector for 40 years. Having provided nursing care at hospital bedsides, she was the first chief executive officer of the Eastern Counties’ Community Care Access Centre. Jocelyne has also held senior management responsibilities in a Long Term Care Home, at the Eastern Counties’ District Health Council and the Champlain Local Health Integration Network. She was the founding Executive Director of the Champlain Regional Hospice Palliative Care Program. Also, she taught at Algonquin College in the nursing education program and at the University of Ottawa, Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences.

She has been on the Board of Directors of the Réseau de services de santé en français de l’Est de l’Ontario and of the OutCare Foundation as well has served on the United Way Ottawa’s Community Investment Committee.

Jocelyne has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master in Health Administration and a CHE (Certified Health Executive) designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
