​Our mission at Hospice Care Ottawa is to provide compassionate high quality care to individuals and their loved ones, from the time of diagnosis through their palliative and end-of-life journey.  Our programs and services are provided at no charge to people in Ottawa.

Different types of donations:

Monthly Donor Program
Become a 'Partner in Comfort' monthly donor. This giving program is an easy way for you to support Hospice Care Ottawa so that we can continue to provide high quality end-of-life care for individuals and their families. CLICK HERE for more information or to sign up

In Memoriam Donation
Honour the memory of someone special who has died with an In Memoriam Donation to Hospice Care Ottawa. You decide whether to inform their loved one of your gift either by an email from our system. To make an in memoriam gift, CLICK HERE select dedicate this gift, pull down the right dedication type, and complete the corresponding fields. You can also send an email to notify the family of your gift. 

In Honour Gift
Special Occasion or "in honour of" gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate a holiday, birthday, wedding, or other event. ​Your gift will commemorate a joyous moment, while supporting palliative and end-of-life care care. By making a donation, the special person you celebrate will receive an email from you. To make a tribute gift in honour of someone or a special occasion, CLICK HERE select dedicate this gift, pull down the right dedication type, and complete the corresponding fields. You can also send an email to notify the honouree of you kind donation.

Matching Gift Programs
Many organizations have a program where they match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company has a policy, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it to us completed, signed and referencing your gift.  The impact of your gift can be doubled.  Some organizations also match donations made by retirees and/or spouses.  Check with your Human Resources Department.
