To all Hospice Care Ottawa family members, clients, residents and to our community:
Hospice Care Ottawa has continuously followed the situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Ottawa. As of September 11, 2023, we have re-instated mandatory masking for everyone's safety. Masks are required at all times at Hospice. Visitors to residence may only remove your mask in your loved one’s room. You are required to please put your mask back on when staff or volunteers enter the room.

- Care in our hospice residences continues to be available. Any number of visitors are permitted as long as the visitor has been pre-approved by the Resident. All visitors are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (two doses with the second dose having been received more than 14 days prior). We ask everyone to enter hospice that they have self-screened negative for any COVID-19 symptoms and perform proper hand hygiene.
