Hospice Care Ottawa has continuously followed the situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Ottawa. We have been taking precautions, such as providing medical grade masks to all staff, volunteers and visitors, enhanced cleaning, encouraging strong hygiene practices and monitoring Ministry guidelines.

Hospice Care Ottawa has continuously followed the situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Ottawa. We have been taking precautions, such as providing medical grade masks to all staff, volunteers and visitors, enhanced cleaning, encouraging strong hygiene practices and monitoring Ministry guidelines.

- Care in our hospice residences continues to be available. Any number of visitors are permitted as long as the visitor has been pre-approved by the Resident. All visitors are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (two doses with the second dose having been received more than 14 days prior). Everyone entering hospice is being screened for COVID-19 symptoms, observed performing proper hand hygiene and required to wear a medical grade mask (provided by Hospice Care Ottawa) at all times while at hospice.
