Bereavement care
When someone you care about has died, you are faced with a difficult and challenging journey. You may feel pain, fear, lost, fatigue or a sense of loneliness but you do not need to grieve alone.
Hospice Care Ottawa's programs and services offers immediate support for a period of time after the death of a loved one due to a life limiting illness. Our programs and services follow a peer led model and offer a variety of programs and services to meet individual bereavement needs. |
Services include:
- Partner/Spousal Support Groups
- Adult Loss of Parent Group
- Bereavement Retreats, Workshops & presentations.
- Grief and Bereavement Walking Groups
- Drop-in Groups
- Counselling (available if your loved one received services from Hospice Care Ottawa)
- Information and referral
