The annual Homes for the Holidays (HFTH) event is Ottawa’s Holiday Home Tour and Holiday Pop-Up Shop, in support of Hospice Care Ottawa. The event, in its 21st year, is a time-honoured tradition in the community, and a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season! We hope you’ll join us at the event. More than 1,800 visitors participate in the Home Tour each year and many others visit the Pop-Up Shop.
“Homes for the Holidays (HFTH) has a very special place in my heart. I have been a long-time supporter of Hospice Care Ottawa and have been a part of the HFTH planning committee for the past 21 years. It amazes me to see the community continue to help us grow this event and raise significant funds for Hospice Care Ottawa (HCO). Every dollar we raise from the event helps provide compassionate, high-quality care to people with life-limiting illnesses and their caregivers at no charge.”
- Joseph Cull, Honorary Chair, Homes for the Holidays
After several years of having the Home Tours virtual, we are excited for you to join us back in-person for the Homes for the Holidays Home Tour, presented by the Taggart Parkes Foundation!
This year, six homeowners in the Ottawa area have graciously opened their homes for three days in November to allow the Ottawa community to tour their homes. Homes from Manotick to Champlain Park will be decorated by generous local florists and designers who donate countless hours to deck the homes in holiday style. All funds raised from the sale of tickets for the Home Tours will allow Hospice Care Ottawa to provide our community with high-quality end-of-life care without charge – care every family may need at some time. The Home Tour begins on November 17th to November 19th and the homes on the tour will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Please click the button below to purchase your tickets for this year's Home Tour. |

The Pop-Up Shop, proudly presented by Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Inc. is a unique shopping stop on the Home Tour and is also open to the general public. It is a wonderful opportunity to support local artisans and vendors while contributing to Hospice Care Ottawa, and
finishing up your holiday shopping. Complimentary tea, coffee and treats at the Pop-Up Shop allow visitors to take a break and socialize.
