Kathy Greene brings a wealth of experience in palliative care and rehabilitation to the Board of Hospice Care Ottawa. She is Director of Decision Support at Bruyère Continuing Care, where she is responsible for a department that provides information to senior executives and organizational leaders to inform strategic decision making. Kathy is also responsibility for the quality and integrity of data systems for the production of evidence-based reports such as the corporate Balanced Score Card, performance and outcome reports and ad hoc analyses and recommendations. Part of her work involves directing clinical admissions to Bruyère and working in partnership with Hospice Care Ottawa, the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), acute care facilities and other care agencies. She currently chairs the Champlain LHIN’s Alternate Level of Care Working Group. Kathy is an occupational therapist and holds a Master of Public Administration. Earlier in her career, she worked as a clinical occupational therapist in several clinical programs, including geriatric rehabilitation. Her personal interests include golf, travel and gardening.
